Gestation

<p>Patricia Debney's first collection of prose poems <em style=background-color: initial>How to Be a Dragonfly </em>(Smith Doorstop Books 2005) was the overall winner of the 2004 Poetry Business Book & Pamphlet Competition. A novel <em style=background-color: initial>Losing You </em>(bluechrome) appeared in 2007. Her second collection of prose poems <em style=background-color: initial>Littoral</em> was published by Shearsman Books in 2013. She is a Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing at the University of Kent. </p><p><br></p><p>Exploring fragmentation delusion and parental ageing the long poem <em>Gestation</em> forms part of her next collection <em style=background-color: initial>Baby</em>.</p><p><br></p>
