Get ready for the Cloud

Nowadays the Cloud Computing paradigm motivates organizations to adopt and use Cloud services in order to take advantage of the Cloud inherent characteristics. However there are many challenges and risks that Cloud Computing brings to the consumer organizations by extending significantly their traditional IT landscape and boundaries. Cloud transforms the business goals operations service offerings processes partnerships and IT infrastructure; things which need to be addressed in the Enterprise Architecture. Consequently Enterprise Architects’ community needs to quickly understand the direct and indirect effects of the Cloud to Enterprise Architecture. In this book we introduce TOGAF for Cloud Ecosystems: the Enterprise Architecture framework for developing managing and governing Enterprise Cloud Ecosystems.
