About The Book

The independence of Ghana in March 1957 was the occasion for Kwame Nkrumah to reveal all his international and African ambition. His foreign policy took shape around both endogenous and exogenous foundations. Wanting to be very active on the African continent he mobilized many means and set up several instruments to this effect. Thus from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the African Affairs Centre to the Office and Secretariat for African Affairs these instruments express the dedication and commitment of Ghana''s first leader and his party the Convention People''s Party (CPP) on the African and international scene.
