Ghost Flowers

This book is a compilation of my late Grandmother Dorothy Evelyn Begg's Poetry. It was originally compiled by friends sometime in the 1960's. Typewriter copies were hand-bound and the cover hand-painted. How many were made and how many still exist is a mystery to me now with no one left to tell me the tale. Contained within are 100 of her favorite poems. I have also included an excerpt written by her friend Louise Shattuck about my grandmother and life in the Spiritualist Community of Lake Pleasant Massachusetts at the turn of the 20th Century. Also inside you will find a lengthy interview with my Grandmother on the same subjects. Beyond her poetry my grandmother was a well-known Medium in the Community. Those interested in the Spiritualists and Lake Pleasant and those who just enjoy good poetry I think will find it an interesting read.
