Giles County Tennessee Miscellaneous Wills 1830-1857

<p>A compilation of wills for residents of Giles County Tennessee written during the years 1830 through 1857 can be found in these records which are arranged alphabetically by surname. The WPA Records are for the most part carbon copies of the original that was typed on onion skin paper during the Depression. Since these records were typed on poor machines by people who did not type well either or read by persons not always sure of the older handwritten material the results are often less than perfect. ... Sometimes there are water stains and burned edges around the paper.</p>
