They were from Perth Australia and were found to have murdered four women ranging in age from 15 to 31 years old over a span of about five weeks. Their fifth victim managed to escape through the bedroom window while Catherine was distracted by a knock at the front door. The woman immediately ran and found help. The press referred to the heinous murders as the Moorhouse Murders. The victims were taken to Catherine and David's home located at 3 Moorhouse Street in Willagee in Western Australia a suburb of Perth.</p>
