About the Author: Mr. N. R. Acharyulu joined Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) Limited in 1970 as a Junior Engineer and has worked in HCC for 46 years until 2016 in various leadership roles as Head of Plants & Equipment Department and later as Head of Construction Engineering & Methodology (CEMG). He played a pivotal role in organizing the claims task force at HCC that was able to turn around the company. As a COO he was able to successfully steer the operations of the company and deliver projects on budget and schedule. In the later stage of his career he served the organization as a Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO). After retirement in 2016 at the age of 72 he continued as an Independent Director on the Board until 2024. In 2022 he published a book titled Building Big-Art of passionately delivering world class infrastructure projects that describes the methodologies to overcome challenges in project execution. Currently he is serving as a member of the governing body of NICMAR University-National Institute of Construction Management and Research-Hyderabad. His hobbies are reading spiritual books like Geeta in Brief which includes various teachings of Swamijis and spiritual leaders on Geeta.
