This is a book of fiction which is based on the actual experiences of the French people during World War II - known as the French Resistance. It is a tale of adventure and romance. An American G.I. is rescued by French Resistance members after his plane is shot down by the Nazis. He is invited to join the Resistance and takes part in their raids against the occupying Nazi Army. Eventually a romance develops between him and the woman leading his Resistance unit. The book takes the reader through many suspenseful adventures and the twists and turns of romance under wartime conditions. One reviewer has told the author that it has the makings of an exciting movie. I hope you enjoy it as well.
