<p>A popular soap opera actor reluctantly returns to his hometown after a successful career for nearly twenty years in Hollywood as devastating secrets from the past and present are revealed which threatens to completely destroy the seemingly perfect lives of every resident in this tiny New England village. Characters in this series will move from one book to another in order for unresolved plotlines to conclude in a realistic way. This scripted format can best be described as binge-watching every season of classic television shows like <em>Knots Landing </em>within a week or two except the story is played out on a printed page and not filmed on video for broadcast.</p>
