This Manuscript Is One Of Kind Nothing Has Everbeen Written Like It Before The Story Begins In 1941With The First Memory I Can Date And What I Rememberand Explains Why I Grew Up So Completely Differentfrom The Majority Of Other Children That I Went Toschool With. I Begin In Petaluma California As Asmall Boy And Continue Through The Years Tellingof The Hardships Struggles And Sorrows My Familyand Relatives Faced As They Worked And Camped Inthe Different Orchards On Highway 99 Or The 101 Andbarely Making Enough Money To Feed Them And Buygas To The Next Job. Then During The Winter Eachyear Dad Worked On Chicken Ranches Or Such Untilthe Spring When We Would Start All Over Again. Thathappened Until The Summer Of 1949 When My Familysettled In Yountville California And Where Thestory Ends When I Joined The Navy At Age Seventeenon The 18Th Of January 1955.
