Global scenario of protections and violations of human rights

The Human rights are the gifts of the Nature to mankind roots of which can be traced in world’s philosophies and religions. The sweep of the concept is expanding day by day. international documents regional treaties mechanisms to protect Human Rights are in place Democracies of Britain USA China Switzerland Germany South Africa Japan France Canada Australia India have Human Rights provisions in bills or constitutions. Still there is no country in the world where Human rights violations are not taking place. This great challenge needed remedies which is the thrust of this book. Human Rights violations world over include discrimination against sex race religion ethnic minorities gay men and lesbians asylum seekers suppression of political dissent xenophobia restriction on expression movement ethnicity nationality.
