Gloria Mundi

The story follows the life of Theo Isbister a young man who is driven by ambition and a desire to make a name for himself in the world. Theo's journey begins in a small provincial setting where his intelligence and charm set him apart from his peers. However his ambitions soon draw him to London the epicenter of power and opportunity. In London Theo becomes involved with a circle of influential people including politicians financiers and socialites. His rise in society is swift and he begins to enjoy the glory that he has long sought. However the world he enters is one of deception corruption and moral compromise. As Theo climbs the social ladder he finds himself increasingly entangled in the schemes and intrigues of those around him.
