Glycemic Control and Family Functionality

This work focuses on exploring this crucial connection between family functionality and glycemic control in patients with DM2 in patients who attend the follow-up consultation at the Family Medical Unit No. 69 in Coatzacoalcos Veracruz. Through a detailed and empirical analysis we seek to identify the impact of family functionality on disease management. Thus this research aims to contribute significantly to scientific knowledge and clinical practice in the field of diabetes and family health. This is an observational retrospective analytical cross-sectional study conducted in the Family Medical Unit No. 69 Marina Anaya where patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in the range of 30-50 years who attended follow-up consultation between December 2023 and December 2024 were included excluding pregnant patients with comorbidities and in insulin treatment.
