The canceling occurs after some revelation often a social media post in which the individual in question has violated a societal norm or expectation particularly in a politically incorrect manner.Microaggression: A term used for brief and commonplace daily verbal behavioral or environmental indignities whether intentional or unintentional that communicate hostile derogatory or negative prejudicial slights and insults toward any group particularly culturally marginalized groups.Intersectionality: The interconnected nature of social categorizations such as race class and gender regarded as creating overlapping and interdependent systems of discrimination or disadvantage.Political Correctness: The avoidance of forms of expression or action that exclude marginalize or insult groups of people who are socially disadvantaged or discriminated against.Identity Politics: Political positions based on the interests and perspectives of social groups with which people identify.
