Going Back To Church

<p class=ql-align-justify><span>I warmly welcome this personal testimony from my brother in the</span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span>Family of God and sincerely hope that this book will be a blessing to</span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span>Christians everywhere. The deep early childhood consciousness of</span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span>God's presence and sovereign authority over his life has been very</span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span>illuminating. Thereafter his personal encounters and struggles to</span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span>overcome the enemy to our eternal salvation would begin.</span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span>This brother was thrown from the path of righteousness before he</span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span>could begin to grow and better understand the things of God. But in</span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span>spite of the years of being held captive to sin he did not lose</span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span>consciousness of the eternal love and grace of the Lord God Almighty.</span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span>After many years living in England and away from any church the</span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span>brother recognised his state of helplessness without Jesus Christ and</span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span>cried out in confession and repentance. The Lord heard and answered</span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span>him and by the saving power of the Holy Spirit he was cut free to</span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span>resume on the Christian walk.</span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><br></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span>Brother Riggon re-baptised and turned to fellowship at his childhood</span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span>church and throughout this moving testimony he has clearly become</span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span>a committed worker in the vineyard of the Lord at the New Testament</span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span>Church of God.</span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span>On a final note I am personally very pleased to see the references</span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span>made to acknowledge the place in history due to the Claremont New</span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span>Testament Church of God in Hanover. This church was planted</span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span>through the tireless labour of a remarkable servant of the Lord known</span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span>to us as 'Brother Bailey' and who hailed from the parish of Clarendon.</span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span>He settled in the community of Jericho/Claremont in 1937. I welcome</span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span>this historic record for the New Testament churches in the often</span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span>overlooked parish of Hanover.</span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><br></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span>Rev.
