Gold Fever

Back as far as man could remember gold had been that whicheveryone sought; and every time someone would claim to havediscovered some of it in a different place there would be a maddash to place a claim on a spot of ground that had yielded what wasthought to be a rich strike. Sometimes it was and sometimes it wasnot. But if it was fool’s gold or the real thing it usually became animportant discovery. The fool’s gold often turned out to be iron oreand became a source of work to a lot of hungry families.
