Gone in a Flash

<p>Flash fiction describes a very short story which should end with a twist a surprise perhaps even a shock.</p><p>Creating one hundred word flash fiction stories is a passion of mine.</p><p>If my original story begins with a word count over and above the one hundred word limit I edit and edit and edit.</p><p>The story always sounds better when I've done that.</p><p>I suppose these stories could also be described as micro stories flashes.</p><p>I hope you enjoy them.</p><p>Oh and when the story first presents itself to you please hide the last line with your hand a piece of paper...whatever.</p><p>We all need a surprise now and then.</p><p>Pat Simmons</p>
