The history of law lays the foundation for the design and development of many modern concepts institutions and principles and other modern legal constructions. One of them is the category of good faith which comes from the Latin term bona fides (good conscience). Although numerous domestic and foreign studies are devoted to this topic but still there is an ongoing debate about the understanding content meaning and role of good faith in the legal reality. Despite the lengthy theoretical development of this concept its consideration was limited to the limits of studying the institute of vindication claim because previously it was used primarily as a characteristic of good faith of the acquirer.
