This book has a paramount advantage to assess and know Good Governance in Local Government in developing countries such as my Country Ethiopia. Since good governance is a legitimate accountable and effective way of obtaining and using public power and resources in the pursuit of widely-accepted social goals this book also entails crucial points to practice good governance in local government. On the other hand local government is a body that executes government duties at local level. It is a self-government involving the administration of public affairs in each locality by a body of elected representatives of the local community known as the local council.
