As Thelma Evans I had the honor of representing a strong beautiful brown-skinned girl whose journey echoed the hopes and dreams of countless viewers.</p><p><br></p><p>In this heartfelt memoir I invite you behind the scenes of <em>Good Times</em>. Our show broke barriers and authenticated and redefined what family community and success looked like for Black America. From the inspiration that Eric Monte and Michael Evans brought to life to the impact of the Civil Rights Movement on the storylines <em>Good Time</em>s was more than entertainment-it was a cultural movement.</p><p><br></p><p>I'll share personal memories of working with my incredible co-stars the laughter we shared and the iconic guest stars who graced our set.
