In Brazil the OSS model was created with the aim of publicizing public services and achieving efficiency and lower costs despite having created new governance relationships. Recent studies have focused on analyzing efficiency and accessibility in public health however few studies have been dedicated to studying the governance of these services from the perspective of corporate governance applied to the public sector. In this context this book aims to diagnose the management practices of Social Health Organizations [OSS] in the State of Rio de Janeiro in light of the recommendations of Study 13 of the PSC/IFAC.
