The Tyrant: If you control the people's money you control the people themselves. The Constitution of the United States: The Congress shall have the power ... to coin Money regulate the value thereof and of foreign Coin. . . .In those two brief statements lies much of the struggle of people to be free. It is the struggle of those few who would control against the many who would not be controlled. Victory in that age-old struggle was won and legally expressed for 211 time by those great free men who wrote the Constitution of the United States. That struggle has been brought upon our people again. The ancient power of taxation to destroy would once more deny the right of a free people to tax themselves for one great purpose-to build. Our people aroused can win.
