Government vs. God

<p>Centralized globalization over our individual lives grows at an ever-increasing rate. International treaties now bypass congressional scrutiny enforcing global solutions to problems that some feel are none of the globe’s business. With the world’s drive for global equality solving Beijing’s pollution requires Texas barbeques to also be limited in their carbon footprint. Eventually only global laws will satisfy the view that equal justice requires equal restrictions throughout the world.</p><p>John the Apostle saw what lies ahead. He was given a tour of his future—and ours—which he recorded in the Bible’s last book Revelation. On the surface however Revelation is not that revealing. It’s written in code even more cryptic than the parables of Jesus. Neither release their wisdom to the casual student. Government vs. God attempts to grasp what Revelation reveals about humanity’s pending attempt to replace God with its government as that provider to which we bow.</p>
