Grandma Tolzmann's Cookie Book

About The Book

Irene Tolzmann would make cookies to send to her friends and family every Christmas. In 1996 her grandson Nathan Tolzmann drew pictures of all the cookies she had sent in a box. Irene then wrote down all the recipes and together they made a cookbook of the 21 varieties she had baked that year. The first edition was a photocopied hand-stapled pamphlet. This second edition includes all the recipes the original introduction and a new foreword by Nathan. The recipes range from simple no-bake cookies to more complex multi-step ones.
