Grandma's Kitchen

<p>In this coming-of-age story our young protagonist is told to bring along her little sister this year. She is not happy. She wants to be the only one to be taught the family tradition to be the one to get all of Grandma's attention. But it doesn't take long before she realizes that canning tomatoes with Grandma can be a labor of love in many ways. First you are learning how to take healthy vegetables from a family garden and preparing them so they can be enjoyed all year long..Second you are teaching someone else how to carry on the tradition. And third you discover how much faster a job can go with only a little more help. </p>
