Graywater

<p>Luke has been missing for weeks. Jay and Ryan begin to feel that the worst has happened to him when they receive a letter telling them he's in their hometown. The message is brief cryptic offering no explanation for his disappearance or why he would return to a place they all swore they'd never go back to. Unaware of the horrors that await them they devise a plan to go and retrieve him from a place they no longer remember-a town whose streets and faces have somehow faded from their minds like a half-forgotten dream. As they prepare for the journey fragments of memories begin to surface: fleeting images of empty playgrounds the echo of something they can't quite name and a creeping sense that whatever drove them away years ago is still waiting. The closer they get to leaving the more they realize that finding Luke might mean confronting the very reason they all tried so desperately to forget their hometown in the first place. But with their friend's life hanging in the balance they have no choice but to return to the place where something terrible happened-something that none of them can fully remember but all of them still fear.</p>
