Great Expectations

<p>Charles Dickens was already famous when he wrote "Great Expectations" the story of Pip and his striving against circumstance and poverty and finding himself unexpectedly well off later in life.  Set in England in the early 1800s the backdrop of the stark differences between the rich and the poor and the rise of industrialization "Great Expectations" is filled with twists and turns that capture the interest of readers still today more than a hundred years later.</p>
