Shukla is Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering Indian Institute of Technology (BHU). He is also Founder Coordinator of Centre for Energy and Resources Development (CERD) IIT (BHU) and Coordinator of CST UP Incubation Centre for Grass-Root Innovators at Mechanical Engineering Department IIT (BHU) Varanasi. He has developed research Collaborations with different institutes of UK and Japan in the field of Thermal Engineering and Renewable Energy Technology. He has published more than 100 research papers in high impact SCI/Scopus Journals 5 books and many book chapters in the books published by Springer Elsevier and other reputed publishers. He has been placed on board of editors and reviewers of highly repute journals. As a writer and Researcher he is best known for his ability to put theoretical things in a practical way.Recently he has been conferred FRSC fellow of Royal Society UK.
