Eco-friendly dentistry is a term legally accepted by the Eco Dentistry Association which is an emerging concept in dentistry. It is an approach to minimize the environmental hazards of dental practice and provide dental care in an environmentally friendly way. Preservation of the environmental is a global issue. Dental professionals have a responsibility along with other health-care professionals to conserve natural resources and to reduce the impact on the environment of toxic waste generated from their practices.
