Green Index: A New Collective Approach to Corporate Sustainability

Green Index is a strategic management decision tool for measuring the “holistic” green performance of companies. It clearly points out investment prioritizations for a company for improving its green performance per Dollar revenue generated. The model is the first index that is collectively developed by VCs/Investors entrepreneurs academics executives and sustainability NGOs' leaders. With the Green Index unlike any other sustainability index in practice Green Performance is measured in terms of the revenue generated by a company. Green Index has three main building blocks as: Environmental Performance Green Innovativeness Financial Performance that are integrated for defining green performance.
