<p>The magical community of Griffinwood Close exists in a mysterious sliver between universes and is home to a motley mix of outcasts from various eras and worlds. Despite their differences the residents of Griffinwood are linked by trauma and estrangement as well as an overwhelming need for acceptance and love making Griffinwood Close an idyllic haven for those in need.</p><p><br></p><p>However as a youngling vampire Emil poses a threat to the safety they have so relentlessly built and Altair as the only other vampire resident finds himself saddled with a roommate he did not ask for. </p><p><br></p><p>Despite his misgivings Altair soon finds himself enjoying the company of his new companion.
