As for the children in us who grew up watching fairy-tales Grimms Fairy Tales is rather grotesque and produces a horrifying angle to them that can be enjoyed by an adult; so he could reminisce his childhood and appreciate what we mustve missed in the movie adaptations. There were more to Cinderellas stepsisters and Rapunzels story all fabricated in a whimsical but morbid form of fairy tales. The book has a total of sixty-two stories with widespread ideas and creatures; ranging from humans to animals from dwarfs to fairies. These stories are enjoyed as one scoop at a time and not gobbling up the entire collection at once. The world is cruel and gruesome as it is we should keep our imagination train at bay.
