Gross National Happiness versus Predatory Capitalism

We are currently experiencing a phase of global changes. The white man and his superiority is being replaced by the new Asian superpower. Gradually we are experiencing the Twilight of the Gods of the industrial and economic order created by the West. The EC did not succeed in maintaining the industrial activities reserved by the Chinese. The financial and industrial superiority of the Asians is relentlessly carried through and is already undermining our financial basis. The growth of the Gross National Product is no longer a suitable means of orientation.In his book the Author is trying to replace the Gross National Product by Gross National Happiness. Striving towards happiness could replace the strive for economic growth. With this attitude the diminishing resources of our planet would be safeguarded and mankind would regard happiness as the measure of all things.
