Growing Through Hell

I couldve chosen to shrivel up and eventually die; although I wouldnt have been able to grow if I did.The time came when I had the chance to awaken to my authentic self. I pushed through the dark to embrace the light with the decision to create a better life. I endured countless days months and even years growing through the muck to discover my true self. I realized that self-hatred and addiction only inhibit the growth that needs to be done to begin to sprout.Though these times were challenging and difficult to make a headway it became possible through the act of self-nourishment. It took one thought one decision and one new habit to mutate the habits that self-hatred and addiction promoted. Through the investment of self-love self-care and self-respect my self-worth began to transpire.
