Growth and Properties of CdS and CdZnS Thin Films

This book is primarily concerned with the synthesis of the group II-VI semiconductor ternary alloys Cadmium Zinc Sulphide Cd1-xZnxS thin films by the CBD and spray pyrolysis process. The characterization is performed by various techniques and their electrooptical properties. The thin films formed by wide band gap II-VI semiconductors are of considerable interest as their emissions cover the technologically attractive blue and green spectral region. They are of great importance due to their applications in solar cells light emitting diodes (LEDs) lasers ultraviolet (UV) detectors and various other electro-optic devices.
