<p>Gulliver's Travel published in England in the eighteenth century is one of the most popular fiction novel throughout the world. This satirical narrative is about Lemuel Gulliver the ill-fated explorer who is ship wrecked first on the isle of Lilliput inhabited by a race of tiny people and then on Brobdingnag where giants rule the shores. Above all he voyages to an island floating above the clouds visits a race of immortals and finds himself stranded in a land ruled by horses warring armies and power-hungry kings. However each journey makes Gulliver more eager to find a way back home but once he discovers the truth about his own land and himself returning home becomes the last thing he desires. </p><p><br></p><p>Jonathan Swift was an author journalist and political activist best known for his satirical novel Gulliver's Travels and for his famous essay on the Irish famine A Modest Proposal. His book was a great success throughout the British Empire and it contributed to Swift's instant fame and legitimacy as a writer and social commentator.</p>
