the book Gumrah Hamrahi is a real life story of  mainly thre couples who married of Dinesh and Pankaja.Saina and Gaurav and Shailesh and Shalini  . Dinesh and Pankaja were married with the consent of their respective parents and lived happily for initial few years of their marriage and had one son and one daughter . thereafter Pankaja started behaving irretically and started suspecting fidelity of her husband Dinesh this type of irrational behaviour of Pankja was the main cause of their strained relationship that complelled Dinesh to fall in love with Sangeeta in whose closeness he received real loce and piece of mind. after few year Pankja understood her folly and now they are living happily . but this was nor the case with Saina and Gaurav though their marriage was love marriage with the blessing of their parants but Gauravs irresponsible and careless attitute towards Saina ultimately led to their separation. similar was the fate of Shailesh and Shalini. The love affair of Shalini before marriage led to the tragic end of their divorce .
