GUNS FOR THE HOME GUARD

<p>Weapons for the Home Guard were unavailable in the early days but when they did come on stream this little guide told recruits how to familiarise themselves with and use the Vickers and Lewis machine guns; the antitank rifle; the ‘Tommy Gun’ (Thompson submachine gun); and the Browning automatic pistol.</p>
