Abigail Clayton Sayer arrives in San Francisco as a mail-order bride to make a fresh start only to find her new husband dead. Luckily for her she's inherited her husband's general store...except the store was funded with stolen money. Gunslinger Luke Cameron is on a quest to recover that stolen money. His grandmother among others was swindled out of it. But he doesn't know what to do with Abigail. Does she desperately need the money or is she a part of her dead husband's schemes? Yet someone wants Abigail dead. Does it have to do with the money? In a race against time Luke must find out the truth before the woman he's falling in love with meets her demise.
