<p>Narration of the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is called 'Hadith'. The Companions kept on narrating hadiths to inform the followers and those followers to their followers about the life and routines of the Messenger of Allah. At that time writing was not a particularly frequent habit. As a result the Prophet and his Companions valued oral tradition and memory over written records. The hadith's history was preserved as a result. This book goes into detail on those narrations that dispute writing down the hadith or not writing it down.</p><p><br></p>
