Handbook of practical physical pharmaceutics for B.Pharm students

About the Book: This book preparation is an effort made to cover the practicals of physical pharmaceutics to be performed during the B.Pharm curriculum. The practicals cover topics related to physical properties of liquids like surface tension viscosity density pH stability of suspensions. Special emphasis is given on the procedure of practicals which will be helpful for the teachers and students with greater ease of understanding the concepts of physical pharmaceutics. It was found that very few such books were available having practical matter as compared to the books having theory matter. So this book will be very helpful to academicians as well as the industry in understanding the concepts of physical pharmaceutics. About the Author: I have completed my B.Pharm and M.Pharm in pharmaceutics from Guru Nanak dev university Amritsar. I have worked on research related to the solubility enhancement of a drug using a solid dispersion technique. Then I worked as an assistant professor in a pharmacy college and taught B.Pharm classes. During my teaching profession I felt a strong need for a laboratory manual of various subjects to teach the practical classes. But the problem was that not many books were available in the market having the content covering the practicals of the B.Pharm syllabus. Then I decided to write the laboratory manuals myself of various subjects of pharmaceutics. I finally compiled the laboratory manual written by me into a book. Hence this book is a very helpful tool especially for teachers and also for students to understand the concepts of physical pharmaceutics. I hope that this book will be very helpful for academicians as well as industry to understand the concepts of physical pharmaceutics.
