Hangman Sing the Blues

Three years ago struggling attorney Durance Bridger traded in a life of billable hours and salacious divorces and left out of Atlanta as fast as the Red Headed Stranger his late model Silverado pickup could take him. Now he's living paycheck to paycheck down along the coast bar-backing in dives and keeping to himself. But when an old friend named Wynn Pickett suspiciously dies out west Bridger is forced to question many of the choices he's made in his life. The answers to these questions lead him to the end of the new world where he must confront Sonny Marzoni a scion of old organized crime. Rumor has it that Wynn may have run afoul of Sonny. Rumor has it Wynn may have run afoul of the law. Is Sonny Marzoni responsible for Pickett's death? Or did Wynn cheat the hangman? It may be that only the King of Rock and Roll knows for sure.
