Hats of Destiny

<p class=ql-align-justify>Growing up Anna was always required to wear fashionable hats to match her dresses and her mother's exacting expectations.  Her home is Grandfield Estate an elegant house in the suburbs of Sydney where the Whitaker family clung to an outdated sense of aristocracy and a full complement of servants. Anna struggles to find the shape of her own identity particularly when WWI breaks out and Grandfield is seconded as a war hospital for recuperating soldiers. Will Anna be able to navigate the challenges of crossing the Grandfield driveway to the outside world of nursing? Will her connections to the servant's quarters of Grandfield help her find her place and a hat that fits well?</p><p></p>
