It is 1981. The era of Indias economic liberalisation is still a decade away. Rajesh Mehta has found his dream job – working for his idol a stalwart of the chemical industry and overseeing the operation of a new pesticide plant in a small industrial town. But he finds that corporate intrigue is rife and few people in the industry are concerned with safety standards.
