Healing a Desperate Heart

<p>My past caught up with me one morning when I opened an unexpected email sent by someone I knew long ago. With it came a flood of memories and emotions that shocked me. I thought I was over that relationship but the strong emotional impact proved otherwise. This was unfinished business that needed closure and I was determined to see it through to the finish. The path before me was guided by unseen forces and synchronicities leading me forward. Like a shaman doing a soul retrieval I knew I needed to heal that part of me that was frozen in time still feeling the pain of abandonment.
