Healing Beauty

Beauty is a quality that all humans possess by virtue of existence. It must not be trapped in the eye of the beholder because beholders can misunderstand devalue and abuse. Distorted understandings of beauty can corrupt a persons every thought feeling and relationship not to mention the whole of society! Healing Beauty grapples with the meaning of beauty while taking into consideration the worlds many broken views of and responses to it. This book follows one narrative of survival grief faith and love acknowledging that the answer is not always found within oneself. Healing Beauty is also a challenge to the views of women and of beauty held by individuals the Christian church and our society as a whole. It portrays the ugly portions of the healing process the small victories and the many thoughts and feelings along the way inviting the reader to journey with the author.
