This is my maiden attempt to write a memoir - with events portrayed the way I remember them. It is about faith friendship andlove Also it is a story about a dreamer who was determined to overcome all odds; illness death and failure did not deter him from achieving his goal. It is a story about resilience and facing disappointments with grace. It is about finally trying to seek the truth about the meaning of life and attempting to tread the path towards spirituality. About the Author B.S. Kesavan is a respected physician who lives in a rural town in West Central Illinois USA. He had been practicing for over 41 years in the same town and has earned the residents'loveand affection. An unexpected major illness caused him to stop working and retire. He migrated from India to New York in the early 1970s; after completing his training in pediatrics he settled down in West Central Illinois. Kesavan is passionate about poetry music and writing. He would go for a run in the early morning hours which is a daily routine in his early days of his practice to ease the daily stress. Helove his patients and calls them as angels of God.
