Healthy Longevity without Dementia

But longevity without accompanying good health is not desirable and actually miserable. Dementia is a frightening word causing anxiety uncertainty and often despair. The population of the older people is increasing exponentially resulting is more and more cases of dementia being diagnosed because age is a known risk factor for dementia unfortunately. Without strong bold and proactive countermeasures by governments dementia will rock the global healthcare system not just in the United States causing much pain and suffering to our society including the patients and their loved ones and caregivers. The social impact of dementia is just too great to ignore!</span></p>
