Heart: A Silent Speaker is a marvelous creation of fiction. It speaks about love; parody; introspection; dilemma and whims.Lily - the protagonist of this novel is a youthful ambitious girl who is struggling hard to fit in this world full of crook people to get a job of her interest atleast in this society where getting a job with good is also a matter of luck; beside solving her tangled love life.It has been more than five years since she last met him. She remembers very well that she had written her contact number on that paper in a hush and had asked him to make her a call on returning back to Delhi. But she yet can't understand why he didn't make even a single call to her. Has he returned or not? Where he would be if he has not returned or if he had came back than why he didn't tried to meet her?On the outer hand she again put down Rajat's proposal for a date and closed the door move to her cupboard took out a box on which M-box was written. It’s her little ‘ Bhanumati ka Pitara' as she had named it years ago. She is very fond of collecting memories.She put that on her bed opened it and start picking out all the cards and broken petals of flowers. There she get another half of the chocolate cover she had in her clutch and an old diary. It was a purple colour small size diary that looks to be not in use for a longer time. She puts it on the bed and put back all the stuff back into the M-box and place that into the cupboard. She opens her diary – And it starts with the lines“Though I get it today when I’m in sixth standard but I’m writing in it through the beginning of my life as early as I remember. I want all the lovable memories to be alive for the time when I might need to rejuvenate myself; for the time when I may feel disdain and when nothing good happens to me - to realize; to feel all the good happened to me. I’ll write in it everyday; everything… what happens to me good or bad; what happened to me before whatever I remember; whatever worth keeping remember. And therefore it pursue with the childhood’s warmth memories…”This has become her way to live her life now. An escapism from this world but what she doesn’t understand is… escapism is not the solution; it's just a temporary illusion.She has to come out to this real world. With the real people around her. Rajat is best for her she know this. She has to be hundred percent in this with him... But she can't. She is helpless in this.In contrast to this here's Happy - her best friend.
