Heartbreak in Uruguay

<p>Recently divorced and questioning all aspects of her life in San Diego a young woman travels to Uruguay to visit her mother. While there her mother becomes gravely ill and she soon learns that because of the COVID-19 pandemic the government will only allow her to continue to visit her dying mother if she becomes a resident herself. Frustrated and stressed she leans on a small group of people she meets each one providing a different form of solace. Relying too heavily on alcohol and men while also at the point of a borderline breakdown she realizes there are some tough choices ahead that will forever transform her life. <em>Heartbreak in Uruguay</em> is the story of one woman's personal test of courage resilience and independence while traveling solo across the world during a time of uncertainty. While boundaries are tested and emotions are high there are lessons on love friendship loss and a desperate need for change. </p>
